General

OVITZ xwave is the world's first 'closed-loop' Higher Order Aberration vision correction system. OVITZ xwave allows eyecare professionals to create a more accurate wavefront-guided scleral contact lens. The system automates the entire measurement, scanning, and production process, delivering better patient results faster and more cost-effectively.

Click the "Sign Up" button in the top-right corner. Once you've been approved, your OVITZ xwave system ships within 10 business days. Once you've received it, simply contact us to arrange remote installation and training.

The complete xwave system is available as a subscription of only $400 per month (excluding applicable state purchase tax). There are no upfront costs, hidden fees, or penalty clauses.

Technology is changing so fast. What's state-of-the-art today can be obsolete in just a few years. This is the reason why the OVITZ system is offered as subscription-only ownership. Our unique subscription model offers a cost-effective solution to acquiring cutting-edge technology, with none of the downsides. It allows us to guarantee the best possible performance and user experience today, and in the future. Every OVITZ user always has the latest hardware and software to enable them to provide the best possible patient care, free of large capital expenditure costs.

You are free to cancel your subscription at any time before the start of your next billing cycle. There are no penalties or cancellation fees. Subscription cancellation requests submitted during an active billing cycle will take effect at the end of that billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for cancelled subscriptions.

Creating a complete eye measurement profile for patients with complex vision issues used to be expensive and required specialist training. The unique OVITZ xwave Aberrometer makes it simple to measure the important ocular and lens data necessary to design and manufacture the best possible wavefront-guided contact lens. Thanks to its user-friendly design, self-explanatory interface, and automated measurement, little-to-no device training is required. Once the data has been captured, the OVITZ xwave system automatically creates a lens file for delivery to a lens lab for manufacturing. The process couldn't be simpler!

OVITZ's wavefront guided scleral contact lens, ARES (Aberration Reduction Enhancement Scleral) is available through Valley Contax. EyePrintPro offers wavefront-enhanced lenses designed by OVITZ xwave technology.

Clinical

Patients with complex vision abnormalities arising from Higher Order Aberrations (HOA) such as keratoconus, post-surgical (e.g. LASIK) complications, injuries resulting in corneal irregularity and high ametropia. OVITZ xwave is also suitable for anyone who simply wants to improve their vision acuity.

Our technology optimizes incoming light rays to arrive at a common point of focus on the retina of the eye. As a result, patients with retinal damage/abnormalities, optic nerve, or brain-related visual perception issues may not experience the full benefits offered by the OVITZ xwave system. Similarly, patients with late-stage cataract issues may not be suitable candidates due to the opacity of the cataract preventing light from traveling through the eye to reach the retina.

Technology

Competitive solutions either only deal with a part of the process (e.g. measurement). They are slow, labor-intensive, and require expensive equipment. In contrast the OVITZ xwave system streamlines and automates the entire production process - from ocular measurement, to lens design, to lens manufacture. The result is dramatically reduced production times and manufacturing costs. The high accuracy and closed-loop nature of the system reduces the likelihood of operator error, making consistent and reproducible results easier than ever.

When measuring higher order aberrations, it's not enough to simply scan the anterior surface of the cornea. We need measurement of the entire visual system. Ocular aberrations are the combined result of every ocular surface, including the contact lens itself, as well as inter-layer misalignment within the eye. To create the absolute best possible result when measuring and correcting for HOAs, it's critical to take every layer's effect into account. OVITZ xwave detects aberrations induced by every ocular surface, including any misalignments, to create the most comprehensive vision profile possible.

Support

Every OVITZ xwave user receives unlimited technical / repair support, as well as hardware and software updates, for life. There are no hidden costs.

Software and firmware updates are handled automatically. Each time you launch the software application, the system checks for updates and downloads the latest version.
